STUDIO DIMITRA - TIME IN THREAD

Embroidery, at Studio Dimitra, is an act of accumulation.

Each piece is built slowly—through hours of handwork, repetition, and attention. Thread becomes a medium through which time is made visible, where the labour of the artisan is embedded into the surface of the garment.

Led by Dimitra Sahabandu, the practice moves between tradition and contemporary form. Silhouettes remain minimal, allowing the density and complexity of embroidery to take focus.

There is a quiet intensity to the work. Nothing is rushed. Nothing is concealed.

In a system driven by speed, Studio Dimitra offers an alternative—where value lies in duration, and in the presence of the hand.
