IRO IRO - CLOTH AS SYSTEM
Iro Iro approaches textiles not as static surfaces, but as systems in flux.
Using post-consumer waste and industrial remnants, the studio has developed a process that transforms discarded material into structured, high-quality fabric. This is not recycling as aesthetic gesture, but as infrastructure.
The work draws from repair cultures, where cloth is extended, reinforced, and reimagined over time. Making becomes cyclical, not linear.
In this context, fabric is never finished. It is something that evolves, accumulates, and continues.
Iro Iro reframes the textile not as an endpoint, but as part of an ongoing process of use, care, and transformation.
